Full-scale environmental wind field & urban updraft numerical analysis technology
- Numerical analysis techniques for full-scale environmental wind fields and urban updrafts and high-rise open-building complex.
- Integrate the design and development of renewable energy device modules with the most suitable locations for installing modules in urban areas. Evaluate wind resources on the campus of Taipei University of Technology to maximize renewable energy power generation. The RCEC has signed an industry-university cooperation plan with HI-VAWT Co., Ltd. to build building augmented wind turbines (BAWT) and develop building roof wind and solar complementary renewable energy systems. Furthermore, the RCEC has been partnered with Dutch renewable energy solution provider IBIS Power to generate as much energy as possible in limited roof space by utilizes a renewable energy solution (PowerNEST system).
