  1. Small-scale ice-on coil storage system and proposed a new dynamic ice melting design. The technology is applied to 2RT refrigerated cabinets, and a dynamic circulating water pump is built into the ice storage tank to study the changes in its cooling capacity through experiments and measurements.
  2. Optimize the design of ice storage air conditioning system by numerically simulating the process of solid-liquid change. It can improve the ice melting and storage efficiency of the ice storage tank of small air conditioners by 15%. Based on the common design of commercially available ice-on-coil by brine, we studied the impact of different fin designs on the ice melting of multi-tube array systems, and co-authored a high-quality journal paper with Pennsylvania State University in the United States. Build small-scale ice storage experimental equipment to develop commercialized high-efficiency small-scale ice storage air-conditioning systems.
